Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police are searching the area of Elbow Lake, south of Sharbot Lake for a missing 38-year-old man. Earlier this week, hunters found a personal organizer belonging to a man. When OPP officers attempted to return the property to its owner, it was discovered that the man had not been seen since September.
Missing is Scott McKenzie Judge, 38, of Elbow Lake, who was last seen on September 30, 2003 in the Elbow Lake area. Judge is described as Caucasian, 6 feet, 200 pounds, with short dark hair with a goatee.
On November 8, the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit began a ground search in the area where the property was found. They are being assisted by the OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Team in the swamp areas around the lake.
