Feature Article - August 2, 2007Flyers hosting golf classic
by Tammy MacDonald
The Frontenac Flyers will host the first of what promises to be an annual Golf Classic on September 15 at the well-manicured Rivendell Golf Club.
As a community-based organization, this annual fundraiser is vital to maintaining the Flyers in our community and it will help make the Junior C experience accessible and memorable to young men in Frontenac County and beyond!
Participants are invited to join the Flyers for a morning of golf followed by a beef-on-a-bun dinner and an awards presentation. You can also look forward to a chance at a Hole-in-One prize of a 16’ Upper Canada Fiberglass Canoe sponsored by L.D. Powersports. All for just $80 per player.
To help the Flyers properly plan for this event, pre-register by August 30. Registrations received by August 20 will be eligible for a special draw prize!
The Flyers are also offering great opportunities to advertise your business at this year’s event. No matter what your budget, there is a sponsorship level for you!
For more information about the tournament or to register, please visit the Flyers website www.frontenacflyers.com or call Mike or Tammy at 613-374-1032.
Play a round with us…. and have a “Hole” lot of fun!
