St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Flinton will be celebrating their 150th Anniversary on Sunday, August 20th, 2023.
To commemorate this milestone for the Church as well as for the community, Rev. Father Paul Njoku & the parishioners of St. John's planted & blessed a Spruce Tree on
Sunday, July 16th before the 11am Mass.
With the planting of this tree they now will have their 1st Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the end of November beginning of December.
Where the whole community is welcome to enjoy Hot Chocolate & Cookies, sing a few Christmas Carols, say a prayer or two and share the joy of Christmas!
This tree is a testament to the past, present, and future of the parish!
