Covered Rink Market Vendors Give Back

The Covered Rink Vendor Market in Sharbot Lake ran on the last Sunday of the month from May to September this summer. To mark the end of the season, the market, which included up to 27 vendors each month, held a season ending afternoon/evening market on Saturday October 24. Market organisers Angie Deline, Christine Teal and Penny Cota took the opportunity to make donations to groups and community minded businesses. Vendor fees supported the donations. Granite Ridge Senior Boys Volleyball, Robinson Excavating, Connections Adult Learning, the Frontenac News and the North and Central Frontenac Food Bank were the recipients this year.
