Memorial Crosswalk in Sharbot Lake

Norm Mills, left, from AllSigns, installs cross walks to honour veterans as a special part of his business, one that he calls a Labour, of Love. He installed one at Garrett Street and Elizabeth Street in Sharbot Lake last week. honours the veterans who have served our country.

Its message is simple: Honour. Respect. Remember. The Township of Central Frontenac commissioned the work, which was completed in time for Remebrance Day 2026, a gesture that is much appreciated by local Legion members. Mills has a local connection as well. He lived in Ompah at one time as was the Deputy Fire Chief in North Frontenac.
