As a proud member of the Land O’ Lakes Emmanuel United Church I strongly disagree with the comments made by Marie White (Letters, the Frontenac News, Nov 6/14) regarding the sad legacy that Rev. Judith Everton left. Rev. Judith was able to unite the three churches and the members of the congregation voted to sell the churches and the manse. Yes there were dissatisfied members who decided to leave because of this decision. However most members remained and we have become a strong vital congregation. I am looking forward to the future.
