Just read "No More toxic wall at SHS". Hurray! Finally something has been done. Great job, Darryl Silver and Kalista. Looks beautiful. I'm sure it was a big task. We all notice and a big thank you goes out to you.
Now if we could just do something about the aging candy canes on our village hydro poles.
Over the years passing through quaint little towns, I noticed they have lovely flags that represent their village. Look at Westport: local children have their artwork displayed throughout the village on flags with their first name on them. How proud these children must be, family members too.
With Sydenham having two schools, why can't we have something like this displayed in our village? With the support of South Frontenac, we could remove the old candy canes; I believe everyone would agree that it's long overdue for a change.
