It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing on February 14, 2020 in her 57th year.
Sandi was predeceased by her mom and dad, Martha and Floyd Closs, infant sister Diane and her brother Phillip. She is survived by her devoted sisters Karen Closs (Kingston) and Betty Babcock (Roger) Parham. Nephews Todd Babcock Toronto, Tim (Laura) Babcock Vancouver, Chris (Crystal) Closs Kingston and nieces Fran Sutherland (Kevin) Kingston, Stephanie (Joey) Lyons Belleville. Special great aunt to Abby, Ridley, Brae Lynn and Rowan. She also leaves 1 aunt Leta Kirkwood of Guelph. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, February 20, 2020 between the hours of 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Trousdale Funeral Home, 4374 Mill Street, Sydenham, ON. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Ompah Fire Department in Sandi’s memory.
There are not enough words to describe our pain and loss right now. We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Providence Care Hospital on Heritage 2 for the wonderful care Sandi received and their kindness to Karen and Betty over the last 2 weeks.
