Lifelong Resident of Tichborne
Passed away at the Sharbot Lake Retirement Home on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of 97. Devoted husband of the late Marion Bertrim (nee Kane) of 67 years. Cherished father of Robert (Joanne), David (Linda), Brian (Cheryl), Dale (Chris) and Jane Bertrim. Beloved brother of Marjorie Percy (late Donald). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Philip Bertrim (Nicole), Amy Lake (Adam), Kerri Courtney (Dave), Krista Teal (Dave), Kaitlyn Chard (Jordan), Brittany McIntosh (Marc), Jenna Crawford (Geoff), Jordan Whan, Braden Whan, and Conner Morgan, as well as his 16 greatgrandchildren. Owner of the Bertrim Store, Tichborne from 1947 - 1989 which became the Eagle Lake General Store. Friends will be received at the Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm. Gordon and Marion will be laid to rest together in the spring at Oconto Cemetery. Memorial donations made to St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Sharbot Lake or the Sharbot Lake retirement Home would be appreciated by the family.
