Passed away peacefully at home in Mountain Grove on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the age of 75. Bernie will be forever missed by his devoted wife Sandy (nee Wilson) of 32 years. Cherished father of Adam Bernard Wood of Edmonton and Michael Thomas Wood (Delia) of Smiths Falls. Proud grandpa of Luna and Perrin. Beloved brother of Wayne Wood (Judy) of Ottawa and Charlotte Buckley (late Ron) of Sydenham. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Pete and Edna Wood (nee MacKenzie). Cremation has been entrusted to Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham. A Celebration of Bernie’s Life will be held later this summer. Memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
