Passed away, at the Friendly Manor Nursing Home in Deseronto, on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Freda Doreen Gendron (nee Allen) of Arden at age 91. Beloved wife for 64 years of the late Russell Gendron and dear mother to June Gendron of Arden and the late James Gendron. Grandmother of Duane (Sarah) of Campbellcroft; James (Andrea) of Winchester and Brock (Charlene) of Cobalt, and choosen grandmother to Tim Parks (Mary) and Angela Deline. Great grandmother of Kayla, Emmett, William Alexander and Jack. Predeceased by her siblings Luella Gendron, Margaret McDougal, Marvin Allen, June Lecheide, William Allen and Lois Scott. Sister-in-law of Viola Belanger of Kingston and Olive Allen of Sharbot Lake. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Tamworth on Thursday, May 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Friday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Arden Cemetery. Memorial donations made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Ontario SPCA Lennox and Addington Branch would be appreciated by the family.
