It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard Livingstone on October 21, 2024 at the John M. Parrott Centre. Rick passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after fighting a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He will be forever missed by his devoted and loving wife of 58 years Joyce Livingstone, his sons Kirk (Nancy), Blake (Alina), granddaughter Kaitlyn and brother Gerry (Darlene).
Rick will always be lovingly remembered by his brother in laws Gary (Trudy) Eady, Paul Ouellett, Randy (Carol) Malcolm, and many nephews and nieces.
Rick was predeceased by his father Edward Livingstone, mother Jean Pultz and sister in law Bonnie Ouellett.
A long time employee of Dupont Canada, Rick retired after 37 years of service. He was always an active man and once retired that didn’t changed. Rick enjoyed spending time with the boys fishing, hunting, riding atv’s and get togethers at the camp.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the John Parrott Centre for their kindness and compassionate care.
As per Rick’s wishes cremation is under the care of Simpler Times Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held at the Piccadilly Cemetary at a later date.
