It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an amazing woman, Bonnie Weese.

Bonnie passed away peacefully at the Perth and Smith Falls District Hospital, Perth surrounded by loving family, Jill Weese, Heather Shaw and Virginia Weese. She was a dedicated wife to the late Guy Weese and caring, devoted mother to daughters Jill Weese, Heather Shaw (Weese),son Jeffrey Weese and granddaughter Virginia Weese. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, Ken Kirk and Laura Gaggi, Arden Scott and Family and the Alexander family, by Sheila Deline and the Henderson church family, by her former Kirk Kove guests and all her Big Gull Lake friends. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Dorothy McLean. She will fondly be remembered for her great athletics as a Cypress Gardens and Kirk Kove professional water skier. Bonnie was also co-owner of Kirk Kove resort where she managed the renowned Kirk Kove dining room and taught staff how to ski. Bonnie was also known for her amazing apple pies! In her later years she devoted much of her time as an elder and member of the special events committee for the Henderson United Church. Bonnie was very grateful to her friends who helped her so much when she was ill. Blessings go out to Charlene Booth, Peter and Su Roos, Do Do Hyde, Jeff Laprairie, John Ross Hodgins, Ken Arney, Robert and Rody Kozak and Dick Page. The family would like to also thank the amazing staff at Perth Community Care for their diligence to care for Bonnie, and the wonderful times she shared at Pine Meadow Long Term Care, Northbrook during her respite stays. Cremation has been entrusted to Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
