It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Stanley Gauthier at Hospice Renfrew on December 25, 2024 in his 83rd year, with Bev at his side. Beloved life partner of 54 years to Bev. Predeceased by his parents Isreal and Erma Gauthier (Thompson), as well as his brothers Kent (Carol) and Clinton (Beverley and Linda).

Dear brother of Darlene Barr-Whalen (late Mylne and George), Pam Riley (the late Gary), and Todd (Bonnie). Cherished father of David (Wanda), Laurie, Tammy Coe (Ron), Darrel and Angela. Proud grandpa of Jamie McLeod (Jesse), Danielle Hessel (Trevor), Mallory Lytle, Jacob Gauthier (Ricky), Jessica Wink, Brandon Gauthier (Laken), Connor Silke and Amber Silke, as well as great grandpa of Emmett McLeod, Danielle Wink, Benjamin Gauthier, Charlie Lytle, Juliette Hessel, Howard Hessel, Thomas McLeod, Skylar Gauthier, Mara-Jade Gauthier and Kristen Wink. Brother in law to the late Shirley, the late Mildred, the late Linda, and the late Timothy Thomson.

Survived by Bernice (Seburn), Carole (Bernard), late Bob and Connie Monk (late Don). Best friend and brother in law to Damon Thomson. Stanley will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Stanley was an aircraft welder for many years, as well as the owner and operator of Gauthier's Live Bait and Sports on Lisgar Avenue from 1974 to 1996, where he loved to greet and welcome customers from all over.

Stanley enjoyed sharing his love of fishing and hunting with many generations throughout the years.

Upon retirement, Stanley and Bev moved to Glenfield to enjoy their little bit of heaven. Final arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew.
