December 12, 1942 – November 25, 2025
Peacefully passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday November 24, 2025 with his wife by his side, in his 83rd year. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Joanne. Loving father of Alan, Andrea Esford (late Al) and Carl (Tracey), daughter-in-law Teresa, and cherished by his grandchildren Emily and Edward Abrams. Survived by his brothers Jim (Ruth) and Lloyd (Wendy), brothers-in-laws Sonny Brawley and Sterling Allen. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Reta Abrams and sister Vera Brawley.
Roy worked over 30 years for the Frontenac County Roads as a truck driver. Roy also enjoyed his woodworking and helping any neighbour that needed something fixed.
The family would like to thank Kidd 10 Palliative Care Unit for their excellent care.
At Roy’s request, there will be no service or celebration of life.
