Of Murvale, ON, passed away peacefully on August 4, at age 85. Norma worked for many years as a nurse at Collins Bay Penitentiary, and she was kind and generous throughout her life. She loved to play bingo with friends, loved to spend the afternoon reading a good book, and spent many happy hours cuddling with her cats.
Norma is dearly missed by her children, Michael, Bill, and daughter-in-law Megan Baxter; and her grandchildren, Madison, Mikayla, and Michael. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Templeton; her parents, Roy Wilson Bishop and Olive (Baird) Bishop, her twin sister Nancy and spouse Blake Griffin, her brothers Roy Mose and Robert John, and sister-in-law Helen (Kotowych) Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kingston Humane Society.
