It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Isobel Hawley (nee Munro) at the John M. Parrott Centre on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in her 89th year.
Predeceased by her husbands Garnet Heaslip and Keith Hawley, and her parents William and Alice Munro.
Missed by her children Beverly Heaslip (Todd Thombs) of Renfrew, Bryon (Wendy) Heaslip of Petawawa, and Robert (Kim) Hawley of Centreville. Grandmother of Tyler (Kristel) Gauthier, Travis Gauthier, Mitchell Heaslip, Sheri Heaslip, and Miranda Hawley. Great Grandmother of Mallorie, Camden, and Ember Gauthier and Hunter Gauthier.
As per Irene’s wishes, there will be no visitation. She will be laid to rest at the Rosebank Cemetery in Haley Station.
Donations to the Sharbot Lake United Church or the Central Frontenac Volunteer Fire Department (Ward 3) would be appreciated by the family.
