The family of Laura May Delyea is saddened to announce her passing on August 23, 2026. Laura was born in Harlowe, Ontario on February 26, 1931. She is predeceased by her parents Leonard and Dora Delyea, Brothers: Clarence, Charlie, Jim, Sisters: Leila, Mable and Violet.
We honour the 95 years of a life well-lived and the laughter and stories she has given her family. Laura saw nearly a century of life that saw an immense amount of history and change. She remained steady, an independent presence throughout her long life.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, September 13th, 2026 from 1pm to 3pm at the Harlowe Community Hall. Family and friends are invited to gather, tell stories and memories of Laura. As per Laura’s wishes, a private interment will take place at a later date.
