Lanark County Master Gardeners are hosting an Open House on Saturday September 6 from 1:00-3:00 at Rockwall Gardens at 995 Code Road, just off Highway 7 about 7 miles east of Perth. We will have demonstrations on dividing perennials, pruning and saving annuals for next year. We will also be available to answer gardening questions or questions on what it takes to become a Master Gardener.

A Master Gardener is a trained volunteer who has completed an educational component volunteer time to become a Master Gardener. Master Gardeners volunteer by sharing their gardening knowledge with others. As a Master Gardener, you increase your knowledge of gardening and plants in Ontario. You network, share ideas and work with others who have similar interest. You participate in technical updates and other ongoing educational activities.

Since 1987, Lanark County Master Gardeners have answered gardening questions, manned advice tables at farmers’ markets and fairs, written articles and made horticultural presentations to various groups across Lanark County.
