Thank You To Firefighters
I am reaching out to South and Central Frontenac to express my appreciation for the diligent work of the firefighters that saved my home. They are my superheroes.
On Sunday October 19, 2025 fire broke out at a cottage a few lots over from mine on Birch Island Bobs Lake. Unfortunately 4 cottages were lost to the fire, there would have been more losses if the fire fighters hadn’t gotten here so quickly. Within 30 minutes pumps were in the lake and water lines were running. Amazing response time for such a remote place.
They ensured everyone’s safety by evacuating the island. They were so professional and worked safely to provide the best possible outcome.
I wish there was something I could do to show how grateful I am. I will have money ready for the boot drives. If there is anything else I can do please reach out to me.
