Vintage Fashion Show for New Leaf Link

On Sunday, October 19th the community gathered at Trinity United Church in Verona for a Vintage Fashion Show in support of New Leaf Link (NeLL).

The event was organized by the Harrowsmith Women's Institute and brought together volunteers & models from New Leaf Link and Harrowsmith W.I.

Thirty-six models ranging in age from 6 to 89 years old took to the runway showcasing clothing from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's (most items found pilfering through closets of our members and amazing creativity of the participants from New Leaf Link).

The smiles on their faces while modeling their designs made the entire event from planning to clean up worth every moment. The fashion show brought in a full house and even a standing ovation!

In addition to the fashions, homemade pie with ice cream, punch, coffee/tea was served to the attendees. All proceeds are in support of the incredible work done by New Leaf Link. We would like to thank our community for their fantastic support
