Storrington Lions Club Raises $3,482 for Local Organizations

On October 26, 2025, the Storrington Lions Club held its bi-annual pop can and alcohol container drive, raising an impressive $3,482 to support two meaningful causes: the Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs and Kingston 4 Paws Service Dogs. Each organization received $1,741 thanks to the generosity of our community.

This initiative was made possible through collaboration with Judy and Bruno Borovskis, our business partners, and the dedicated members of the Storrington Lions Club. Special thanks to Lion Bob, who managed weekly cleanups and made countless trips to the LCBO to return collected containers.

Donations steadily arrived from April until the October event, and we’re proud to continue collecting year-round. If you’d like to contribute or have questions, please reach out to us at [email protected] or 613-353-6920.

Stay tuned for the next collection date—and thank you for helping us make a difference!
