Lions Club Assistive Hearing System

The Lions Club of Land O’Lakes is pleased to announce that their new hearing assistive system has been installed and is operational in the Lions Club Hall in Northbrook, Ontario.

Sound from the existing sound system microphones is transmitted to earphones or headphones worn by individuals requesting the service.

The new assistive hearing system was made possible through a grant received from the Mazinaw Community Fund, developed by Margaret Axford and Ian Brumell and managed by the Community Foundation for Lennox & Addington. The grant to the Lions Club of Land O’Lakes was sponsored by the Cloyne & District Historical Society. The system was supplied by Canadian Hearing Services and installed by volunteer Lions Club Members.
