Fen Valley Farm; Four seasons of Flavour

Fen Valley Farm on Tryon Rd is introducing a farm stand for fall 2025 and beyond. For those unfamiliar with the farm there has been the option for farm pick up along with pick up in Sharbot Lake and Perth Farmers Markets for a number of years. Customers wanting to beat the rush and guarantee their weekly greens and other products could place an order through the website at fenvalleyfarm.com.  Although this method has worked well it has lacked flexibility for some customers. After a great turn out for the annual pumpkin stand it was time to upgrade to a four season farm stand.

Now open for business,  the shelves and fridge have squashes, carrots, turnips, radishes and leeks as well as grass fed grass finished beef from McKenzie farm in Balderson, greeting cards from Birch Whisper Studio and original paintings and children’s books by Cheryl Matson. There are also wreaths and holiday greenery  available throughout December.  Plans to add locally produced  honey, syrup, flour and other meat products are in the works as well. And once winter has run its course the stand will have all the farm fresh offerings on a daily basis.

Without hurdles of online ordering the hope is to create more access to Fen Valley Farm products and get the food of other farmers and the wares of  local artisans into the hands of the surrounding community.
