Le Volume at Snow Road Hall

Freshly back from a BC tour, local musicians Jenny Whiteley and Joey Wright opened the packed Snow Road Community Centre, on Nov 27th, with a set of crowd favourites. Then after the break, they were joined by Julian Brown, to create Le Volume, a new project for the trio. All three members bring original tunes, which they worked on together, creating what they dub as glitter folk. They played many of the over 20 songs, in both English and French, that they recorded together, and had the crowd sometimes singing along, and often laughing along, with their relaxed sense of humour. A new program of concerts will begin at the community centre in the spring.
