Dual Honours For Firefighter Stan Seitz

Last week, Ompah resident Stan Seitz was honoured twice. He received a plaque from the township marking his 45th anniversary as a member of the North Frontenac Fire Department (he started with the Palmerston-Canonto long before North Frontenac was created in 1998) at a North Frontenac Council meeting.

Then, in a second special ceremony, he was also honoured on the occasion of his decision to formally retire from the department. Family, friends and fellow firefighters joined Stan to mark his long career. He started with the department in 1980.
