Re BMO Bank Closure in Verona

The BMO rep at the Jan. 13 meeting said, “BMO is “committed to offering the best service to their customers.” This is entirely deceptive. The best service is supporting communities, not making seniors unable to go do their banking. Corporations end up with a good image if they understand “service".

The BMO rep also said, “There is not enough traffic coming through the doors to justify keeping the branch open.” This is outrageous. Look at the figures reported from BMO's last quarter of 2025. “Profit: The bank reported an adjusted net income of $2.51 billion for the fourth quarter, a 63% increase compared to the same quarter in 2024."

And BMO is saying it can’t afford to keep branches open? Keep up the protests!
