Central Frontenac Garbage Pickup
After reading Jean Brown comments on garbage pick up I felt compelled to agree with her and add a little. Comparing South Frontenac to Central Frontenac is like night and day. Having lived in South Frontenac I can talk from experience, Central Frontenac does not have the same level of tax base that the South has so the cost would be astronomical. Then there is the environmental impacts Central is much more rural and when garbage doesn’t get picked up or is out all night where do you think it will end up ditches, swamps when the bears, raccoons get into it which creates another problem. Most people I know are responsible and do the right thing. And when people are out they are contributing to the economy whether it’s stopping for gas, groceries, or a coffee. The number one job of any counsel is roads and schools and then if there is anything left present your vanity projects With the way the economy is now concentrate on what we can afford.
