North Frontenac Business Dinner
The second annual North Frontenac Township business dinner was last Friday night (April 17).
It was a chance for business owners to get to know each other and their businesses.
Guest speakers included local MP Scott Reid, Mayor Gerry Lichty, Deputy Mayor Roy Huetl, Councillor John Inglis; Chair of the Economic Development Task Force. Shaunis Sakell, business advisor from Frontenac Business Services, Richard Allen from Manager of Economic Development at the County of Frontenac rounded out the official speakers
Lindsay & Claire; of Tinker Sisters Workshop, also spoke on behalf of the youth movement in the business community.
Seeing the milestone awards given out to the local businesses in the area was certainly one of my favourite parts of the evening! If you are a local business and interested in attending this event or celebrating your milestone with the Community, you can contact the township. To book a seat for you and a guest next year, keep and eye on the township Facebook page.

Tremendous Congratulations to the Milestone achievers for your years in successful business in North Frontenac: 5 years - The Red Barn Zone, Ross Ranch & Contracting; 20 years - The Goddess & the Green Man; 25 years - The Loons Call Campground & Cottage Resort; 35 years - West Palmerston Cottages, and 45 years - Fernleigh Lodge
And… congratulations to Twin Oaks Lodge for celebrating 90 years; a little birdie let the Township know!
Thank you to the Clar-Mill Community Volunteers for the delicious catered roast beef meal and thank you to the Economic Development Task Force (EDTF) and staff for planning and organizing the evening!
