NAEC Represents Limestone Board at Ontario Skills Competition

Four students from North Addington Education Centre represented Limestone District School Board at the Ontario Skills Competition held at the Toronto Congress Centre from May 4th - 6th, 2026.  Parker Beeg, Quinn Sproule, Clark Lemke and Jasper Keller, under the guidance of their construction teacher Eric Borger, competed in the Home Building Team of Four competition.  This event required the students to independently construct a 4x4 shed based on the plans provided, start to finish, including walls, siding, floor and shingles, in an 8 hour period.  Of the 30 teams who competed, few were able to bring the job to completion.  The team from NAEC finished the project with 1.5 minutes to spare!  Their months of dedication, teamwork, practice and perseverance resulted in them brining home the silver medal for this category.  A job extremely well done
