Sharbot Lake Anniversary

The celebration on May 8-9, of Sharbot Lake area history and the 150 year anniversary of the first train to arrive in Sharbot Lake on May 8 1976 was fabulous. Congratulations and thanks to Dianne Lake and her committee, the railroad committee and the many other participants who collaborated with them to make this such a successful event. The book "History of Sharbot Lake Village 1875-2025" is also exceptional, as is the mural by Donna Larocque! I understand this has all been 2 yrs in the making. Thank you for contributing so much to our sense of connectedness and pride in being part of the Sharbot Lake area community.
