Storrington Lions Launch Weekly Community BBQ to Support Frontenac 4H and New Leaf Link

The Storrington Lions Club is pleased to announce the return of its weekly community BBQ series, held every Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. throughout the summer. This initiative raises funds in support of Frontenac 4H and New Leaf Link, two organizations dedicated to youth development and inclusive community programming.

For a contribution of $10, attendees will receive a complete meal including a hamburger or hotdog, salad, dessert, and water. All proceeds from the weekly BBQs will be donated directly to the two beneficiary organizations.

Members of Frontenac 4H and New Leaf Link will be on-site each week to assist with meal service and engage with the community. Live musical performances by local entertainers will provide background music during the event. A full schedule of performers is available on the Storrington Lions’ Facebook page.

The success of this annual fundraiser is made possible through the generous support of local businesses and community partners.

Silent Auction Begins in July

In addition to the weekly BBQ, the Storrington Lions will host a summer-long silent auction, with items displayed each evening beginning the first week of July. Final bidding and the draw will take place on August 20.

Community members wishing to donate auction items are encouraged to contact Marie at 613 449 4744 or speak with any Storrington Lions Club member.
