The Return of Bridesmill Studio
With her late husband Ron, Susan Wulf bought a restored historic mill on Bob’s Lake Road, near Tichborne, over 15 years ago. They lived and worked and sold art out of the studio for several years, establishing a clientele for Ron’s work and for Susan’s works in fused glass and stained glass. They were stalwart members of the Inroad Studio Tour and other arts enterprises.
“I started doing fused glass in 1997,” she said in an interview earlier this month, “and have never stopped enjoying the process.”
Her and Ron moved away to the Ottawa area, and he has since died, and Susan decided to move back to the Tichborne last year, and bought a house at 11391 Road 38, between Parham and Tichborne.
Now that she is settled in, she is back at work and has decided to open up her studio store on weekends. She creates fused glass earings, framed works to hang on the wall, and stained glass for a variety of applications.

“People buy my work as gifts for special occasions, as art for their walls, and I also sell platters and other works for serving. I also enjoy when people commission for their own specific needs,” she said.
Bridesmill Studio is open from Friday to Sunday, from 1pm to 6pm, on holiday Mondays, or by chance or appointment. To contact Susan, call 613-328-4911.
