A Roar Of Thanks To Our Storrington Lions!

As we approach the end of summer, we can’t help but reflect on all that we have accomplished together at the Storrington Lions Club!

From our Community BBQs on Thursday nights and Farmers’ Markets on Saturday mornings, to our very first SOFRO Jam—and, of course, who could forget Canada Day!—the Lions have certainly had a very busy and active social calendar.

While serving and supporting our community, we also host private events at the hall—events that sometimes get overlooked when we talk about everything the Lions do. These gatherings are an important part of helping us keep the “lights on” and our hall operating for our community.

And behind every successful event is a team of Lions quietly making it happen.

From participating and volunteering at Bingo, bartending at our social events, setting up and cleaning up, to helping maintain a clean, welcoming and comfortable hall—our Lions do an incredible amount of silent volunteering.

So today, we want to send out a BIG LIONS ROAR! to each and every one of our Storrington Lions.

Your time, your dedication and your willingness to pitch in are what make all of this possible.

Thank you for everything you do—for our Club, our Hall and, most importantly, our Community.
