Sharbot Lake Pickleball Club

The Sharbot Lake Pickleball Club (SLPC) wrapped up another season on Tuesday, September 7, with its fall year-end pairs tournament at the Garrett Street courts.

With the weather cooperating, players enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of competitive pickleball, plenty of laughs and, of course, a few questionable calls at the kitchen!

Congratulations to the medal winners: Gold: Carl Howes & Joanne Free; Silver: Kim Begley & Chris Begley; Bronze: Angela Schutz & Tamara Jesek, and finalists: Cheryl Mitchell & Bob Moskal

Pickle Jar winners were Leslie Oshaughnessy and Lori Bullock.

A special thank-you to Time Bell Keeper Joan Hollywood, whose timely bells kept everyone moving and the tournament on track.

Following the action, players headed over to the Kick & Push to celebrate the winners, commiserate with the defeated and serve up a few tall tales, over a cold-one. An extra special thank you to Kick & Push Brewing Company for staying open late, to accommodate us.
