Disappointment in Inverary

ppointment that the "No Alto", "Save Frontenac County" group was turned down from being present at Saturday's Inverary Craft Fair. I know they weren't selling a craft, but the Rotary, Costco (?), SPWC and Kiwanis were all present. We spent about 45 minutes talking with the lovely group who were in a very non-visible location on Perth Road, when right down the road, they could have had amazing exposure at the fair. When I approached a volunteer, she told me it was too political, and I said that it was bipartisan and heavily supported in South Frontenac. They could have asked for a pro-Alto group to be there to be fair, but do you really thing anyone in our region is pro? I think that this was a grave oversight, and I know that the wonderful people set up down the road had hardly any visitors, which is a shame, considering how disgraceful this HSR proposal is!
