In an effort to create a venue for good quality, amateur musicians, a newly formed group calling themselves Pranxtrs has made arrangements with the management at The Crossing Pub to host an evening of music and dancing on the 2nd Thursday of the month for October, November and December. The music will run from 7:30 to 10 p.m. with a $6 cover charge at the door. Drinks are available at the bar, and anyone interested in a meal before the music starts should make reservations in advance by calling 613 279 2198.
The performance on Thurs., Oct. 12th will showcase Pranxtrs. Who is Pranxtrs you ask? Well – you start with the seasoned musical duo named Trxtrs (Jerrard & Diana Smith), add a rhythm section of drums and bass (Dave Limber & Gary Giller), throw in the impressive voice of Kora Kamps, and you come up with the group Pranxtrs. Guest performers will include the dynamic Marc Giroux on Thurs., Nov. 9th, and the well-known, Verona rocker Tom Revell on Thurs., Dec. 14th.
So, if you enjoy live music and want an opportunity to get out of the house over the darker evenings of Fall, come join Prantxs and its musical friends at The Crossing Pub on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Be sure to mark the date on your calendar so that you don’t miss out on the fun.
