After the great recent success of the musical Oliver! the general consensus of the large troupe of kids involved was “Please NFLT – Can we have some more!!” , As a result, NFLT is presenting the Tim Rice/Andrew Lloyd Webber production - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, directed by Christina Michie, with music by Adam Parker in the spring of 2025. This beloved, multi-award winning musical follows the life of Joseph and his 11 brothers from biblical Egypt and will be another big production for NFLT. They will be looking for many, including kids! for the cast and crew. Look for more info on their website.
In the fall of 2025 Adam Parker will make his directorial debut bringing The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), a play written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield. Described as zany, and madcap, this fast-paced comedy touches on all of the Bard’s 37 plays in under 2 hours. Bring your running shoes!
The meeting wound up with the election of a new executive. Leaving after completing their terms are Jeff Siamon, Sandra and Brian Robertson and Karen Steele. The patrons of NFLT expressed their gratitude and the new executive is being led by President Angela Cowdy. Carol Morris moves from member at large to assume the position of Secretary. Joelle Parr joins the executive as Treasurer, while former Treasurer Jan Levitt moves to member at large. Tim White remains as a member at large while Ryan Michie and Lily Legacy join as new members at large. Art Holloway moves to the position of past president.
