On October 29, 2020, at approximately 10am officers of the Lennox & Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and other emergency crews responded to a report of a two vehicle collision on County Road 506 in North Fontenac Township.
L&A County OPP and the OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) team closed County Road 506 for several hours to investigate the collision. A westbound vehicle and an eastbound vehicle collided in the eastbound lane. The driver of the eastbound vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene and has been identified as Warren SNYDER, age 69 of Trent Hills, Ontario. The road re-opened later that day and the investigation is ongoing.
