Federal Offender Wanted- Nolan Pichette

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of their Statutory Release.

Nolan PICHETTE is described as an Indigenous male, 24-years-old, 5'9" (175cm), 185lbs (84kg) with brown hair and brown eyes.

Pichette is serving a 3-year, 7-month sentence for:

  • Discharge a Firearm into or at a Place in a Reckless Manner
  • Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking

The offender is known to frequent Ottawa, Napanee, North Frontenac Township and Cornwall, Ontario.

Frontenac Opp Investigating A Sexual Assault

The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a sexual assault in the Godfrey area.

In the early morning hours on August 31, 2024, a young person was sexually assaulted by three unknown males at a campground. It took place near the beach area and involved three male parties who had been drinking prior to the assault.

There is no ongoing concern for public safety, as it's believed to have been an isolated incident.

Frontenac Detachment Crime Unit members are looking for public assistance, including witnesses, video or anything that could help identifying the of males.

Missing Boater Located Deceased On Knowlton Lake

A missing boater was located deceased on Knowlton Lake after an extensive investigation and search by members of the Frontenac detachment.

Frontenac detachment (OPP) officers responded to the Knowlton Lake boat launch, on September 04, 2024, just after 1:45 pm when residents reported an empty boat drifting across the lake. Local residents, in their boats, also located articles of clothing floating in the water and a vehicle parked at the boat launch.

An investigation determined that the owner of the boat was missing on Knowlton Lake, after attempting to launch the vessel. Frontenac members were assisted by the Marine Unit (OPP) and the South Frontenac Fire and Rescue service to conduct a search of the lake for a male party, aged 80 years old, from Napanee.

The Marine Unit (OPP) officers located the male in the water a short distance from the boat launch, just after 3:00 pm, and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Coroners Office of Ontario.

The unattended boat and vehicle were recovered from the lake by officers.
