(TAY VALLEY TWP, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to appeal for information regarding a serious two-vehicle collision.
The crash happened on Sunday, October 13, 2024, around 8:15 p.m. on Fallbrook Road.
Two vehicles were northbound when they were passed by a red Dodge Ram pick-up truck. One of those vehicles was forced off the road, where it struck a rock cut and later caught fire.
Individuals who had stopped at the scene helped to pull individuals from the wreckage.
Five people, ranging in age from seven to 48, were transported by ambulance to several hospitals with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The pick-up truck did not stop after the collision and left the scene.
The truck described as is a red Dodge Ram, four-door crew cab, believed to be from 2005 to 2009. It's not believed this vehicle sustained any damage.
