An individual has been charged and property recovered after the execution of a search warrant in South Frontenac Township.
On July 2, 2024, members of the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), assisted by members of the Frontenac detachment (OPP), executed a search warrant on a residence in South Frontenac Township. As a result of that investigation, Joshua Carter, age 39, of South Frontenac Township was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, over $5000 - in Canada.
The officers located and seized a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) worth approximately $28,000, that was reported stolen from a residence in South Frontenac Township on July 01, 2024. All seized property has been returned to the owner.
The accused was released from custody and is set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on August 20, 2024.
