Artist Meredith Gee is a fourth-year SHS student who has created a large piece of art as part of her graduating year. Painted on four pieces of 4’x4’ plywood, it depicts a powerful eagle with SHS in the background. Meredith, who has been passionately dedicated to art for as long as she can remember, also designs wearable art and flower crowns. She is going to be showing her work at Fantasy in the Forest (left on Draper Lake Road, just north of Perth Road village) the August 30th weekend.
Her preferred art mediums are charcoal, acrylic and watercolour, and she likes to work to music.
