Coaches Parker Friendship and James Hicks are proud of all their athlete’s hard work this season and know that much of their podium success was inspired by Canada’s 2024 Olympic Canoe Kayak Sprint Team accomplishments in Paris this summer. The club is looking to grow its sprint competitive team, so it is not too late in the season for your child/teen age 8-19 to get involved in the sport of sprint paddling close to home. No experience necessary.
There are still a few spaces available in the Intro. to Sprint Fall Training Program. Please go to the SLCC website at sydenhamlakecanoeclub.com and click on the heading Programs for details. Register early to avoid disappointment.
