Storrington Lions in the News
What a great day for Storrington Lions Club on Oct. 8. Kingston Charity Bike Night ended its very successful Thursday night BBQ season by presenting two charities with $5,745.50 each. Thank-you for your good work: K-4Paws and Frontenac 4H. The club was also honoured that night to receive a donation from Kevin and Susan Bovey of Maple Country Home & Farm for a new hall sign that will make the hall and club more visible from Battersea Road. Lastly, members were delighted to hear from James Thompson of South Frontenac Township who discussed the emergency preparedness program. The club is hoping to work with the township to make the hall a safe gathering place during emergencies. Wow - good things are happening at Storrington Lions Club!
