South Frontenac Township has launched their Climate Change survey to gather information for developing their Corporate Climate Change Action
Plan. The survey will gather feedback from residents and businesses to align the Townships
actions with community needs and to measure support for our climate initiatives.
“Climate change is the most critical issue we face today,” said a township release regarding the opening of the survey period. “It will take action at every level, from federal, provincial and municipal governments to businesses and individuals, to address climate change.
In the process of developing its Climate Change Action Plan, the township state goals are
to identify where they can reduce greenhouse gas emissions within their operations, and to evaluate risks and vulnerabilities to municipal infrastructure, services, and operations. The over-riding goal of the plan is for the township to enhance resilience in the way it delivers services to residents.
Members of the community are invited to take the Climate Change survey online by visiting www.surveymonkey.com/r/SouthFrontenacCCCASurvey.
