Thank you to the community for supporting yet another successful can drive in support of Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs. On November 24, 2024, Lion Bob, Shirley, Laurie and Allie welcomed community members at the Storrington Lions Hall to drop off their aluminum pop cans and alcohol beverage containers. In total for the day, we raised $950 that will be sent to the Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs to help with the care and maintenance of service dogs in our community.
Special shout out to Environmental Services for donating the bin, ANS Scrap metal for taking the cans, Trousdale’s Inverary Home Hardware and Ormsbee’s Mercantile for taking our empties.
Without the help of the community successful events like this would not be possible. We thank you for helping us Serve the Community!
