The Land O’ Lakes Tourist Association announces the 2009 Marketing Vision Awards in recognition of innovation, expansion and commitment to small and rural communities located within the Land O’ Lakes region.
Nominees will be received from North Frontenac, Central Frontenac, South Frontenac, Frontenac Islands, Greater Napanee, Loyalist Township, Stone Mills Township, Addington Highlands and the Municipality of Tweed.
A nominee from each of these municipalities will be recognized with an award. In addition, one business from the Land O’ Lakes region will be named the Marketing Vision Award winner for 2009.
Anyone may nominate a business for these awards. Nomination forms will be published in area newspapers and online at www.travellandolakes.com and submitted by fax, mail or email to the Land O’ Lakes Tourist Association before September 14, 2009. Nominations should include a 30-50 word explanation of why the business deserves recognition.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 6:30 pm at the Loyalist Country Club in Bath. A reception will begin at 5:30 pm followed by dinner, a guest speaker and award presentation.
