A few days ago, my brother called, panicked. Tulsi—who you may also know for jumping on the counter at the store—had leaped out of our car at the cottage and bolted onto the frozen lake. "Jaskirn, I’m so sorry, but I think we heard ice crack—we don’t know what to do." I was helpless on the other end of the call.
They reached out to the fire department, who arrived fast. "He's on the ice!" I heard in the background. The firefighters scanned the dark shoreline as Tulsi circled the bay. After several tense minutes and countless calls, he finally came back. Lesson learned—ditch broken leashes!
Tulsi is home safe, all thanks to our incredible firefighters. Forever grateful to these absolute legends!
