Children who frequent the Oso Beach in Sharbot Lake are big winners from the global economic slowdown. Among the infrastructure projects that were funded to stimulate the economy was a brand-new play structure at the beach. Crews completed the installation just as the sun set on the summer of ‘09. When the weather warms up in the spring, local kids as well as tourists will have a new place to climb.
